Roulette is played on a wheel with 37 numbered pockets. The number 0 (zero) is green; numbers 1 through 36 alternate between red and black.

Placing Bets
Before the wheel is spun, players place one or more bets on the table layout. You can bet on a single number, a group of numbers, a color (red/black), even/odd numbers, or low/high numbers

Spinning the Wheel
The dealer spins the wheel in one direction and rolls the ball in the opposite direction.

The Outcome
Once the ball lands in a numbered pocket, the dealer announces the winning number and pays out all winning bets.

Players can place inside bets, outside bets, a combination of both, or make special Racetrack bets.

Inside bets
Bets on specific numbers or smaller groups of numbers (e.g. Specific Number, Split, Street).
Outside bets

These cover larger sets of numbers, such as even-money bets (e.g., red/black, even/odd, low/high) and column or dozen bets (covering 12 numbers).

Racetrack – Special Bets
The racetrack is a dedicated part of the table, located in front of the dealer. It represents the actual sequence of numbers on the roulette wheel and allows for more advanced betting strategies.

Player bets on 0 or a combination including 0 (e.g., split 0–3 or corner 0–1–2–3): The player wins based on the payout for that bet type.
Player bets on numbers 1–36 - If 0 is the result, the bet is lost.
Player places an outside bet – Zero is not part of outside bets (e.g., red/black, even/odd, high/low), so the player loses the bet if 0 comes up.

Inside bet – A bet on specific numbers or small groups (e.g., splits, streets)
Outside bet – A bet on broader categories (e.g., red/black, even/odd, or low [1–18] / high [19–36]).
Split – A bet on two adjacent numbers, e.g., 8 and 11 (chip is placed on the line between the two).
Street – A bet on a row of three numbers, e.g., 4–5–6 (chip is placed on the outer line at the start of the row, between the numbers and the layout edge).
Double Street (Six Line) – A bet covering two adjacent rows of three numbers, e.g., 4–5–6 and 7–8–9 (chip is placed at the intersection of both rows).
Corner – A bet on a square of four numbers, e.g., 10–11–13–14 (chip is placed at the intersection of all four numbers).
